Museum
A cultural, non-profit organization, the Instituto de Cultura Hispánica de Corpus Christi was founded in 1976 and is located in the Lichtenstein House in Heritage Park. The Museum offers art exhibits, folkloric displays, English and Spanish recitals, cultural celebrations along side art and artifacts from many different Hispanic countries. A special exhibit is featured periodically. You are welcome to visit our educational center where you will find books, videos, and information from most of the Hispanic countries.

The Lichtenstein House, constructed in 1905 by Julius and Carrie Lichtenstein was entered into the Texas Historic Landmarks in 1976, and into the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The ceilings and walls are made of wood, which was typical of that era. The front door is an elegant feature with its oval window flanked by covered panels. The style is Colonial-Revival with a large elliptical porch, which is the most striking feature of the house. The widely spaced Tuscan columns support the graceful curved cornice decorated with dentils.
